Chowdhury Rumana B. Nasir (Rumana Chowdhury) is a fashion designer, entrepreneur and social activist. She is regarded widely as an Empowering & Independent Women Icon. She is one of the very few successful young women entrepreneurs who have taken fashion Industry into a new height.

After Rumana completed her graduation in Fashion Designing, she started her fashion Brand Warah in 2008. Since inception the fashion brand took a responsible route of using environmentally conscious use of material and embedding unique designs in locally available fabrics which made Warah to become one of the leading lifestyle brands of the country within a very short span of time. Her extensive work with block and Khadi has jumpstarted the once unused material and help revive the dying artisan community. By using moisturized cotton and natural processing, it has popularized the used of locally produced cotton and the impact of the environment. Furthermore, by employing local Artisans it has been successful in ensuring century old trade and knowledge is economically viable. Warah is directly responsible in ensuring at least 4 such artisan family not only have livelihood but also continue with the traditions handed down over generations.
